Non-rated Trio bowlfest
rolls off at Super Lanes

The Non-rated Trio Bowling Tournament, organized by the Bacolod City National High School Class ’85 Pirates, will unfold tonight at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

The event is a three playing date spectacle where the top three teams will vie for the title in an up-the-ladder system to determine the champion.

Action will follow after the 5:30 p.m. registration and meeting of team captains where rules and guidelines of the tournament will be discussed.

Gift certificates and trophies are at stake for the winners.

Meanwhile, the up-the-ladder system of seeded No.3 to 5 in three divisions of the Top’s Open Trio Bowling Tournament is set tomorrow at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

The winner in the rated bracket will go up against No.2 seed NPBC RJ Star Tamaraws in the battle for the right to challenge Kami Mga Hubin for the title.

The top 10 bowlers in the men and women’s department will vie for the master’s crown on Feb.22, while the final showdown of the top two teams is set on March 1.

Six non-rated players of the same event were nominated as super “C” after they successfully earned points higher than an ordinary C bowler. They were Ulysses “D Road Runner” Pacheco (Canvil Knights); Boy “Alahoy” Wingpo (FRM Mktg.); Melot “D Steel”Alimon (Candles); Romel Jover (Davies); Toto Flores (Flores Team), and Frantit “D Cute” Miranda (Candles).*HLG
