Fisherman found dead
By Shiela May Gelera

The body of a fisherman was found floating some 100 meters from the Banago wharf in Bacolod City at about 9 a.m. yesterday.

Station 3 chief, Senior Insp. Dianne Grace Aquitania, said that Jerson Pradonueva, 21, of Purok Mahimulaton in Brgy. Banago, Bacolod, had two stab wounds on his chest when his body was found by workers of a nearby fast craft company.

The victim was identified by his father, Monopollo Pradonueva, who claimed that he last saw his son alive at about 3 a.m. Sunday.

Security guard Richard Antoni, who was on duty at the fast craft company, said he did not see the victim or hear any commotion before the recovery of the body.

Aquitania said they are still investigating the incident.*Shiela May Gelera
