The Philippine Trade Training Center of the Department of Trade and Industry is conducting quality productivity courses scheduled this month until March to improve management systems, quality documentation, and laboratory competence.
In a statement sent to the DAILY STAR, the DTI said that the training will be participated in by laboratory managers and staff, company owners and managers, quality management representatives, document controllers, internal quality auditors, and process owners.
Participants may choose courses on quality management system awareness, QMS root cause analysis and corrective action, quality management documentation, standard for laboratory management, and standard for laboratory management system documentation, the press release said.
These courses aim to give participants knowledge on documenting a quality management system based on the guidelines of the International Standard Organization, to understand the importance of laboratory documenting, and to help develop a quality system for companies to become more competitive, it also said.
They have to register and enroll through the PTTC website at www.pttc.gov.ph . Training fees vary from P1,750 to P2,000 per course.
