10,000 expected
at Bacolod rally

The grand rally of Team PNoy in Bacolod City today will be organized by the Nationalist People's Coalition-Grupo Progreso, being a partner of the Liberal Party, Mayor Evelio Evelio Leonardia said yesterday.

Leonardia said they expect a crowd of more than 10,000 at the grand rally of the Team PNoy senatorial candidates.

He said the team’s loyal, dependable, tried and tested supporters are expected to be there to give their all-out support to the Team PNoy candidates who will be in Bacolod and in cities in the 3rd District of Negros Occidental for their campaign sorties.

Leonardia said “this will be a rain-or-shine event that people should not miss because the candidates who are popular and celebrities in their own right will be here to speak in public”.

People can see them up close and personal, and they will truly enjoy themselves, he said, adding that this is the enthusiasm that this event has generated and he is confident that many people will come to the rally.

With the endorsement made by Liberal Party vice chairman and Team PNoy campaign manager Senator Franklin Drilon, Leonardia, Vice Mayor Jude Thaddeus Sayson and Greg Gasataya, vice mayoralty candidate, will have their roles at the grand rally.

Leonardia will give the welcome remarks, Sayson the opening remarks and Gasataya will deliver the closing remarks.

Leonardia said the rally will start at 5 p.m. at the Bacolod Public Plaza but in case of bad weather, it will be transferred to the BAYS Center.*CGS
