Life begins at 40.
That is what Raymond Araneta Villacorta, son of the late Ramon and Mercedes Araneta Villacorta, who recently celebrated his birthday at the home of his aunt, Tita Carmen Araneta Flor, believes.
Guests and well-wishers were ushered in to the lanai, where a local band provided lovely music. Soloists Claire Bird and Bobby Aguirre alternated in rendering songs of the 70s and 80s.
The celebrator’s batch mates, Class 1989 of St. Teresita’s Academy and the Silay Institute, his work colleagues, and family friends, like former Rep. Kako Lacson, retired RTC Judge Roberto Chiongson and his wife, Dr. Rose Chiongson, and MTCC Bacolod Judge Montano Medel, were with Raymond for his Big 4O bash.
Guests and friends mingled and gaily joined the hip hop, cha-cha and other dance numbers, and even Raymond obliged with several songs that we all enjoyed listening to.
To Raymond, enjoy the “start of your life”. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!*
Remember: The God we meet in good times is the same God we meet in hard times. May the Lord refresh us and give us strength as we face new challenges every day. We can trust God to face everything with Him.
