Javier Lozada Jr. is the new National Food Authority regional director in Western Visayas, Procopio Trabajo, NFA Negros provincial manager, said yesterday.
Lozada’s previous assignment was in Region 10 Cagayan de Oro, Trabajo said.
Lozada is from Iloilo and his first assignment as NFA regional director was in Western Visayas. But because of the agency’s reshuffling system, he was transferred to Region 10, then to Region 12 Caraga, Trabajo said.
Meanwhile, former regional director Ruben Reside became the director for human resource management at the NFA Central Office while Miguel Wycoco, who formerly held the position, became the regional director for Cagayan de Oro, Trabajo also said.
He said that Gil Ibarra has also been assigned as assistant regional director for NFA Western Visayas.
Ibarra, who replaced Pablito Gemarino, was formerly assigned in Negros Occidental and Capiz, Trabajo said.
Gemarino retired recently, he also said.*LTG
