It was a very happy grand reunion and Three Kings celebration for former residents and workers of the Bacolod–Murcia Sugar Central, at L'Sea Restaurant in Bacolod City recently.
The double celebration was also attended by first, second and third generation of Bac-Murcia Central employees, led by Teray Parroco, Linda Alunan, Taba Arboleda, Mila Moya, balikbayan Anthony Padilla, Milet de Leon, Lupita Jamiana, Loret Torres, Cita Baluyo and Rosa Lao.
It was a very enjoyable and memorable affair, reminiscing the good old days and exchanging pleasantries with childhood friends, neighbors, co-workers and classmates at the Don J. Amado Araneta Elementary School in Bacolod.
In attendance were Virgie Zulieta, Concep Geolingo, Fe Yulo, Ebed Geolingo, Roselia Pedria, Lucring Cabalfin, Tating Dayot, Nice Baluyo, Ramon and Lucy Cortez and Rosendo Borja.
The two crisp lechons were donated by Jr Diancin, and Parroco brothers Boy and Goyong. Everybody went home laden with gifts, courtesy of Manuel Parroco of the Island Merchants Corp.
It was an unforgettable and a happy celebration for everyone.
