Retro paces NSL bowlfest

Retro Team led in the NSL Non-rated Trio Bowling Tournament at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

The Retro bowlers now have a total score of 3,061 pinfalls, with ASSFBI to second overall with 3,020 points.

Playing for Retro are Iran Pielago, Reymund Lopez, Lyndon and Cero Cordova.

Flores Team and LJP Trading/NPBC were third and fourth with 2,899 and 2,835.

Bago Fighters posted 2,827; Kami Mga Hubin, 2,700; Jed Jolly & Jetz, 2,671; ASSFBI II, 2,640; 69Ner's, 2,624, and Grupo Retirado, 2,580.

Pielago of Retro had the new record in highest single of 152 eclipsing the old mark of Rene Buencuchillo of 143.

Highest pinning record holder is 69Ner's bet Butch Oberio with 97.

The fourth round will be played tonight at 6:30.

On July 23, NSL will hold a two-game non-rated trio derby at the same venue.

Registration is P600.

The top three survivors after two games will play in an up-the-ladder system to determine the champion.*HLG
