LHCA downs SJI Falcons in
Toyota Cup `D’ League

Living Heritage Christian Academy topped  the top gun in the Toyota Bacolod Cup-BCAN "D" League, by shooting down St. John's Institute, 88-66, Sunday at USLS-IS covered court, a press release from BCAN said.

The ANOPSSAI champions now carry a 5-0 win-loss record while the Falcons, who will  defend  their NOPSSCEA title in September, dropped to 1-4.

University of Negros Occidental Recoletos improved its record to 2-1 by  beating Silay City, 52-42.  The boys from Doña Monserrat High School ranks third with a 3-2 slate behind second- running West Negros University, the press release said.

The Junior Mustangs whipped Trinity Christian School, 68-51, on Saturday for a 4-1 card.  TCS bounced back with a 60-57 upset of St. Benilde School for a 1-3 slate while SBS remained  with 0-5 record.

Idle University of St. La Salle remained at 2-2.

In the Aspirants level, WNU demolished TCS, 83-37, SJI drubbed UNO-R, 70-20, SBS walloped LLZ Warriors, 62-34 and USLS White tripped USLS B lack 51-40 in Saturday's matches.

USLS Black recovered the next day and whacked USLS Green, 77-59 while TCS nipped UNO-R 45-40.

SJI remained on top with 4-0, USLS White at 3-1, USLS Green and WNU tied  at 3-2 and USLS Black at 2-1.*
