USLS U13 booters claim 3rd victory
in Negros First Football tournament

University of St. La Salle displayed its superiority with a 10-0 win against Montevista Elementary School, while Trinity Christian School claimed its second victory at the expense of West Negros University, 7-0, in the Negros First Under 13 Football Tournament at the Panaad pitch, Saturday.

Rafael Jose Gonzaga booted in three goals for La Salle (18’, 28’, and 35’), while Angelo Servando set the tone for a La Salle-dominated game with back-to-back goals in the first six minutes of the match.

Joining them in the list of USLS scorers were Ariq Villo, Chyle Miraflores, Ralph Castro, Joshua Limco, and Yuri Akol.

LHCA downs SJI Falcons in
Toyota Cup `D’ League

Living Heritage Christian Academy topped  the top gun in the Toyota Bacolod Cup-BCAN "D" League, by shooting down St. John's Institute, 88-66, Sunday at USLS-IS covered court, a press release from BCAN said.

The ANOPSSAI champions now carry a 5-0 win-loss record while the Falcons, who will  defend  their NOPSSCEA title in September, dropped to 1-4.

University of Negros Occidental Recoletos improved its record to 2-1 by  beating Silay City, 52-42.  The boys from Doña Monserrat High School ranks third with a 3-2 slate behind second- running West Negros University, the press release said.

ACPACI, UNO-R rule
accountants’ bowling tilt

ACPACI emerged as champion in the professional level, while University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos topped the the junior’s department of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountant and JPIA Bowling Tournament at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

The champion team anchored by Sitoy Ramos claimed the title by defeating JFB & Associates of Jerry Bantilan in the finals, 525-519.

GACPA and ALBA ROMEO placed second and third runners-up in the PICPA bracket.
