generals promoted

Two more Negrense generals and two others previously assigned in Negros Occidental received their star-rank Thursday during oath-taking rites in Malacañang, administered by President Benigno Aquino III.

Those who received the one-star rank were Chief Superintendents Noel Constantino of Bacolod, and Arrazad Subong of Sagay City, Manuel Felix, former provincial police director of Negros Occidental, and Rogelio Damaso, former commander of the defunct 331st PC Company based at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City.

Also promoted to brigadier general in the Philippine Army were Ademar Tomaro of Kabankalan City, and Francisco Patrimonio of Bacolod City.

Subong is presently the director of the PNP Highway Patrol Group, while Felix is assigned in Western Visayas as deputy regional director for Administration of the Police Regional Office 6 in Iloilo City.

Constantino is the new director of the Philippine National Police Academy, while Damaso has served as director of the PNP Information Technology Management Service at Camp Crame, police records show.*GPB
