Golfers from different areas in the country will converge at the Victorias Golf and Country Club in Victorias City on June 24 to 25 for the 4th VMC Chairman’s Cup Golf Tournament.
Launched in 2012, the tournament is a gathering of golf enthusiasts in the country who will be pitting their skills against each other at the 18-hole executive golf course.
Known for its irrigated greens designed to enhance the natural beauty of its slopes and fairways, the Victorias Golf and Country Club is one the three golf courses in Negros Occidental frequented by top players in the country.
The tournament this year will tee off at 8 a.m. on June 24 with the awarding night at the Pavillon Hall of the VGCC 6:30 p.m. on June 25.
Aside from gathering of golf enthusiasts for a two-day top-level competition, the tournament aims to entice more golfers to play regularly at the VGCC and to introduce Wilson Young as the VMC Chairman since 2011, the organizers said.*NAB
