ASSFBI still at No. 1 in
non-rated bowlfest

Active Solid Strikers Fellowship Bowlers Inc. still lead the teams of the BCNHS ’85 Non-rated Trio Bowling Spectacle at the Negros Super Lanes and Entertainment Center at the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

The ASSFBI headed by Cecil Ramon Silverio, has a two-round score of 1,936 points, 74 pins ahead over second-running Retro Bowlers of Iran Pielago with 1,862.

No. 3 and No. 4 are Flores Team and Tanduay with 1,848 and 1,816, respectively.

The rest are 69Ner’s with 1,810; Bago City Fighters, 1,791; Joe & Joe Romano, 1,784; Bago City NPBC, 1,782; Grupo Retirado, 1,696, and BCNHS ’85, 1,641.

The third round will be played 6:30 p.m. tomorrow.

After five rounds of competition the top three squads will compete in an up-the-ladder knock-out match to determine the champion.

Gift certificates will be awarded to the winners.

Meanwhile, the top 10 players of the Top’s Open and Non-rated Trio Bowling Tournament will vie for the master’s crown tentatively on June 24 at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

After the fifth scheduled rounds, Joe Latoza of Davies is leading the men’s rated with 119 points, while ESD Electronz/ASSFBI starter Ricky Zamora and Minnie Chua of St. Joseph Alumni Association lead the non-rated and women’s category with an average of 116.56 and 118.88 points, respectively.*HLG
