KMH dominates
BCNHS bowlfest

Kami Mga Hubin led the 1 st Team Pirates BCNHS B'85 Bowling Spectacle that ended yesterday at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

The KMH bowlers, Joval Damasco, Odong Paran, Otoy Jardio and Cris de Asis, beat Joe & Joe Romano in the final round, 324-288.

Paran topscored for the twice-to-beat champion squad with 114 points, while Jardio and Damascos scored 107 and 103 each.

Before their encounter with KMH, Joe and Joe Romano won over Flores Team headed by Roger Flores in the semi-final, 318-306, to earn the right to challenge the top seed.

The Romano team of Edjie Balayo, Joe, Raffy Ramirez, and Oscar Clenen, advanced to the semifinals by beating Bago City bowlers led by Ric Abellar in the quarterfinals, 317-305.

The tournament record holder in the team competition were Team Pirates '85 in single with 362, while KMH established the highest triple with 1,038.

Bago City's Abellar topped the individual contest with the highest pinning mark of 96, 162 in single, and 415 in triple.

Meanwhile, Team Pirates BCNHS 2 nd Non-rated Trio Bowling Championship will start March 12 at the same venue.

The Negros Occidental High School General Alumni Homecoming Bowling Tournament will resume today.*HLG
