Three rob
suspects arrested

Three men were arrested after they allegedly robbed the residence of Ruth Redel in Brgy. 39, Bacolod City, Thursday and took several items valued at P181,000, Senior Police Officer 1 Celito Dullan, chief investigator of Station 1, said yesterday.

Dullan said the apprehension of Rence Clemente, 20, of Homebridge Subdivision, and Jonathan Bragasa, 24, and Larry Fernandez, 20, of Purok Katilingban, all of Brgy. 39, resulted in the recovery of some of the stolen items.

Redel said she discovered that their house in Homebridge Subdivision had been robbed when she arrived at about 1 p.m. Thursday from La Carlota City, Negros Occidental, where they stay during weekdays.

A witness had told Redel that the suspects were seen on board a jeepney, loaded with several items, parked near her house.

When arrested, the suspects told the police where and to whom they sold the items, Dullan also said.

The refrigerator was recovered from a resident of Rosario Heights in Brgy. Taculing, the air conditioning unit in Brgy. 35, and the sofa in Purok Neptune, Brgy. Singcang-Airport, police records show.

Dullan said the dining table set, assorted clothing, and a wooden cabinet have not yet been recovered.*APN
