The Bureau of Fire Protection will be sending out notices to owners of business establishments informing them that the moratorium on the retroactive implementation of the sprinkler law has already ended.
Bacolod City fire marshal Chief Insp. Bartolome Beliran said this would enable the owners of the business establishments to start installing sprinkler systems.
Beliran said that after they have sent out notices, they hope that the owners will comply with the law as it is for the safety of everybody.

The Social Security System has started issuing Employer Numbers to household employers as part of the SSS registration requirements under the newly-signed Kasambahay Law, a press release from the agency said.
The law ensures the social security protection of househelpers such as maids, family drivers, nursemaids or yaya, gardeners, cooks, or laundry women, the press release said.
SSS Officer-in-Charge Edgar Solilapsi said that any person who engages the services of a househelper and actually pays the compensation for such services is considered the Household Employer.
Bankers’ Club officers inducted
The Bankers’ Club of Negros Occidental Inc. held its 40th induction of officers at L’Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City recently, a press release from the group said.
The club is the umbrella organization of all commercial, savings, rural and thrift banks and financial institutions in Negros Occidental.
