to be completed

The new bridge over the Masungay River that will connect Bgy. Alijis to Bgy. Taculing will soon be fully completed along with a new concrete road along the Eastern Part of the Girls' Home in Bacolod City.

This was confirmed by Ephraim Hechanova of the City Engineer's Office Special Services Division, Friday.

Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia said "The new bridge and new road open a new artery that connects the Alijis-Mansilingan-Murcia Road to Magsaysay and Cory Aquino Avenues."

Hechanova added that the 30-meter long and 9-meter wide, modular bridge, costing P14.59 million, along with a 350-meter long and 6-meter wide, and 8-inch thick concrete road will be opened to motorists in 30-35 days.

"I am happy that this priority project of my administration will soon be open for the use of the public," Leonardia added.*
