receive new fire trucks

BY RENE GENOVE

The Bureau of Fire Protection in Region 7 led the turn-over of two multi-peso modern fire trucks to Bayayan City and Tanjay City recently at the Provincial Capitol Grounds, in Dumaguete City.

The new Rosenbauer TLF 4000 fire trucks have the capacity to discharge 2,400 liters of water per minute. Its water cannon can push water up to 62 meters horizontally and 24 meters vertically, which is equivalent to an eight-storey building.

A press release from the bureau said the officials held a demonstration of the fighting capabilities of the fire trucks at the Capitol grounds that was attended by Fire Marshal Supt. Victor Vibares, Provincial Administrator Arnel Francisco, and fire officers from Tanjay and Bayawan stations, FO3 Feliciano Roxas Jr., SFO1 Noel Ligo, SFO2 Rico Bandeling, FO1 Janice Merador and FO1 Ralph Minguito.*RG
