A symposium on livestock and poultry disaster risk reduction program will be held by the Negros Occidental provincial government today at the Kabankalan gymnasium in the city.
Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr. and Kabankalan mayor Isidro Zayco will lead the event.
Veterinarians from the provincial government and representatives of agricultural product companies are among the event’s featured speakers, a press release from the capitol said.
Topics will be on livestock and poultry disaster mitigating measures, damage assessment and reporting, and Oplan Iwas Disease.
There will also be a product presentation, the press release said.*
