A BCBP gathering
The Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals welcomed Gau Arancillo of Iloilo, with Doy Andrada, Jimmy Ascalon and Noel Amane, to Bacolod City recently and met friends and colleagues at the BCBP, led by Digoy Montalbo, and Angie Sta. Agueda, who was also in town.
Retired Col. Ariel Querubin and his wife, Pong, attended the BCBP regional breakfast with other members, and they talked about honesty and integrity. It was refreshing to welcome old balikbayan friends.
BCBP members and their friends, officemates and relatives recently held a relief mission in Loon, one of the towns of Bohol hardest hit by the 7.2 magnitude earthquake that struck the Visayas area on Oct. 15.
The group served meals to about 1,700 residents and distributed relief packs to more than 500 people. They were led by Jo Cuadra and her daughter, Bea, and Bing and Beth Sedonio, and other members of the BCBP are also preparing to help victims of super typhoon “Yolanda”.*
