PDEA nabs top
drug personality

A suspected top drug personality in Bacolod City was nabbed by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency during a buy bust operation at Purok Kagaykay, Brgy. 2, Bacolod, at about 4:20 a.m. yesterday.

Arrested was Raphy Duadores, 38, of Brgy. 2 and recovered from him were four small plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, five P100 bills in marked money and a Nokia cellphone.

PDEA Intelligence Agent 1 John Carlo Daquiado yesterday said Duadores, who is number one in their drugs watch list, is now detained at Police Station 2 for violation of R.A. 9165.

Daquiado said they had been monitoring the suspect for a long time but he is very mobile, and very few people know his whereabouts, so they had difficulty trying to entrap him.

He said Duadores does not carry any illegal drugs with him since this is being distributed through people working for him. After they have disposed of the illegal substance, he collects the payment. This is the usual modus operandi of big time drug personalities, Daquiado said.

He also said they had received information that Duadores usually collects the payment in the morning, so when they conducted the operation yesterday their agents were able to apprehend him, he said

Daquiado said that biggest areas of operation of Duadores are Puroks Kagaykay and Sigay in Brgy. 2 and part of Banago and they were also informed that his items have already reached Iloilo. He gets his supply directly from Metro Manila, he added.

Duadores used to work for the Cuadras but he is now an independent player. They also believe he has a wider market compared to the group of Cuadra, Daquiado added.*CGS
