Another Ceres-Dynamic
showdown looms

Ceres FC and Dynamic Builders gear towards another final showdown as both squads scored another overwhelming victory against separate rivals in the latest match-up of the Negros Football League at the Ayala pitch in Talisay City.

Dynamic Builders fashioned a 10-0 win over Las Buenas FC with Ian Treyes and Jaime Poderoso scoring three goals each while Ryan Lirio contributing two markers and Nenito Alcano and Mark Arandilla delivering one goal each to compete the blowout.

Ceres FC also stamped its class over Jakalz FC as they cruised to a 9-1 win to stay on top of the team standings. Joshua Fegidero opened the scoring several seconds into the game as Ceres' offense caught the Jakalz offguard.

Labordo banners ALA-Cobra
MassKara boxing tournament

Juren Labordo, another talented boxer from Bacolod City being groomed for stardom by ALA Promotions, headlines the October 12 MassKara Festival Boxing Tournament at the Bacolod Arts, Youth and Sports Center.

Labordo will fight against Valencia City’s Marzon Cabilla in the 10-round main event of the 36-round card of professional boxing to be presented by ALA Promotions in partnership with Cobra Energy Drink.

A former Palarong Pambansa medalist for Western Visayas, Laborde scored a first round knockout against Ricky Sabia of Elorde Stable-Metro Manila during the “ALA-Cobra Tunay na Lakas Boxing” July 21 at the same venue.

Servania, Villanueva to
fight foes in Cebu

Pinoy Pride boxers, Genesis “Azukal” Servania and “King” Arthur Villanueva from the ALA Promotions stable in Cebu will face off with Panama’s Rafael “El Torito” Concepcion and “Jose”Matador” Cabrera of Mexico, respectively on Oct. 24 in Cebu City.

The 22-year- old Servania of Bacolod City is a junior featherweight who currently holds a record of 21 wins with eight knockouts and no loss, fights aggressively with authoritative jab that sets up fluid combinations and is poised beyond his years while his Panamian opponent was WBA interim super flyweight champion AJ Banal’s conqueror on the 10th round in the evening of July 26, 2008.
