More brownouts slated

The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines will shutdown certain transmission facilities from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, a press release from

NGCP said.

The firm will conduct maintenance at its Sipalay substation, which will affect portions of the Negros Occidental Electric Cooperative franchise area, the press release said.

Normal operations will immediately resume after work completion, it also said.

NGCP customers and the general public should take necessary preparations and precautions for the scheduled interruption.

Specific cities and municipalities that may be affected by the power interruption are determined by CENECO , the press release said.*
