Chicken Deli turns 30
A thanksgiving mass officiated by Fr. Pablo Tabino kicked off the 30th anniversary celebration of Chicken Deli in Bacolod City recently.
Present members were the Ciocon family, the restaurant staff, guests and patrons. Fr. Tabino, accompanied by Roseller Ciocon and Delia Granada, blessed every nook and cranny of the establishment.
I joined Ninfa and Perla Leonardia, and the de Leon sisters, Millet and Gene, at the table of Delia Granada, for the celebratory dinner, where the famous inasal, along with other mouthwatering dishes were served. I was tempted to try the creamy halo-halo with ice cream, even when it was raining that night.
Despite the bad weather, regular customers arrived and enjoyed the celebration.
Congratulations to Chicken Deli, and may you have many more anniversaries to celebrate! God Bless!*
