Labordo leads Bacolod pugs
in ALA-Cobra boxing tourney

Bacoleño Juren “Turbo” Labordo heads the list of prizefighters who will slug it out with equally talented pugs from different provinces in the country in the Ala-Cobra Tunay na Lakas Boxing Tournament scheduled tonight, 6 p.m. at the Bacolod BAYS Center, a press release from city hall said.

Labordo will lay his undefeated record on line as he battles Marzon Cabilla (9W-9L-1D, 4 KO) of Valencia in the main event while Rolan Servania (4W-0L-0D, 1 KO) will try to give Atique's Marlon Macayan (1W-0L-1D) his first professional loss in the event's special attraction.

Rolan is the younger brother of Super bantamweight champ Genesis “Azukal” Servania ( 22-0, 8 KO), who won his last bout against Japanese pug Konosuke Tomiyama via split decision last July in Macau, the press release said.

An all Bacoleño undercard bouts will also highlight the event with RoyRoy Sumugat (8W-4L-1D) versus Rolly Llino of Butuan City; John Rey Melligen (2W-1L-0D) versus Arnel Acebuque of Valencia; Alvin Sibugan (1W-0L-0D) versus Glen Cantiveros of Valencia and neophyte professional boxer Ruben Sibugan versus Brian Johnson of Butuan City.

The Ala-Cobra Tunay na Lakas Boxing Tournament will be free to the public and in cooperation with Mayor Monico Puentevella and the City of Bacolod, Lite Shipping Corporation and Robinsons Place Bacolod, the press release added. *
