Green Archers to join
MassKara celebration

The De La Salle University Green Archers men's basketball team, champion in the 2013 UAAP season, will be in Bacolod City this weekend to join in the MassKara celebration.

Among the members of the champion squad are Bacoleños Luis Alfonso Revilla and Kib Montalbo, who honed their skills in local tournaments including the annual NOPSSCEA games.

The 5-foot-7 Revilla has established himself as one of the ace point guards in the UAAP as he led the Green Archers in the assist department in the 2012 season with an average of 2.8 assist per game.

Montalbo, on the other hand, is considered as a prized rookie in the UAAP after building a solid reputation as an all-around player in the NOPSSCEA during his elementary and high school days.

Earlier, the Green Archers are set to play in the 18 th FilOil-Unigames 2013, that will run from October 20 to 28 at the University of St. La Salle, but the squad begged off last week due to conflict in the schedule of some players and the coaching staff.

Competing in men's basketball of the Unigames this year are 28 teams from different universities and colleges in the country, including, former UAAP champion Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles, 2012 and 2013 runner-up University of Sto. Tomas, Unigames defending champion National University and UAAP 2013 semifinalist Far Eastern University.

Unigames basketball games this year will be played at USLS Coliseum, Colegio San Agustin-Bacoldo Gym, Bacolod Tay Tung High School Po Hang Gym, and West Negros University Gym.*NAB
