Cemetery clean-up pushed

A resolution requesting the Task Force Clean and Green of Bacolod City, through the Office of Mayor Monico Puentevella, to clear and clean up the Burgos, Granada and Handumanan public cemeteries, is being proposed by Councilor Roberto Rojas.

It said many people are expected to visit the public cemeteries in Bacolod City on November 1 and 2 for the All Saints and All Souls days’ observance.

It is necessary to clear overgrown grasses and get rid of garbage that have accumulated in these cemeteries in preparation for the expected visits in these places. The clean-up activity should be maintained even after November 1 and 2, the resolution added.*
