Space science
roadshow coming

BY CARLA GOMEZ

Former Senator Anna Dominique "Nikki" Coseteng, president of the Diliman Preparatory School in Quezon City, yesterday said she is bringing the NCeries Space Science Roadshow to public schools in Negros Occidental soon.

The roadshow offers school-based programs for students such as the Digital Mobile Planetarium, she said.

“We will bring this to different schools and provide an extensive teacher training on space science,” Coseteng added.

Coseteng met with Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr. and Vice Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson at the Capitol yesterday to inform them of the roadshow.

The governor has a very forward-looking and progressive attitude towards science and education, she said.

The governor and the vice governor really want the best for Negros Occidental children, especially those in public schools in remote areas, she added.*CPG
