Hospitalized girl
needs help badly

BY SHIELA GELERA

The 7-year-old girl from Brgy. Caradio-an, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, who had been diagnosed with intracranial mass and probable acoustic schwanoma, is thanking all those who have helped with her medical expenses, civic leader Token Lizares said yesterday.

As of yesterday DAILY STAR readers had given P4,300 to Angela Marie Jagonos, who is confined at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City.

Angela’s mother, Helen, 41, cannot meet her daughter’s hospital needs as she sells fish for a living. Her husband died when Angela was only 10 months old.

A brother of Angela, who is 14 years old, had to drop out from school to help his mother take care of his younger sister, who would have been a Grade 2 pupil.

Angela is still confined at the hospital, and badly needs more help for her treatment.

Any assistance for her medical needs and hospital expenses may be coursed through the DAILY STAR office at Araneta Street, Singcang, Bacolod City, with telephone numbers 434-5642 and 434-5653.*SGG
