Victorias jobs fair slated Sept. 30

 Victorias City, Negros Occidental will hold a job fair on Sept. 30 at the Don Alejandro Acuña Yap Quiña Arts and Cultural Center, a press release from the city said.

The activity will be held in coordination with Rep. Alfredo Abelardo Benitez (3rd District, Neg. Occ.), the Department of Labor and Employment, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration and the Public Employment Service Office.

The initiative is aimed to provide employment opportunities to Victorias residents most of whom were displaced by the retrenchment program of its major industry, the press release said.

 It is designed to benefit Victoriahanons and residents of neighboring cities and municipalities as well, it added.

Interested applicants must bring their birth certificate, certificate of skills training, certificate of residence, passport, and picture.
