60 MedTech passers
The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos yesterday announced its 60 Medical Technology board passers in the licensure examination administered by the Professional Regulation Commission August 31 and September 1, its press release said.
The performance gave the school a 98.48 percent passing rate as against the 83.80 national percentage, and was declared the 4th top performing school in the examinations by the PRC, the press release also said.

Fashion show tonight at mall
The “Arte Negrense” fashion show will be held by the Association of Negros Producers, 6 p.m. today at The District Ayala North Point in Talisay City, Negros Occidental, a press release from the ANP said.
The show of Negrense design and ingenuity will highlight the apparel, bags and accessories crafted by members of the association, and will serve as a pre-event to launch the 28th Negros Trade Fair September 25-29 at the Glorietta Activity Center, Ayala Malls, Palm Drive in Makati City, the press release also said.
Creations to be displayed consist of the casual to the glamorous and formal wear for children and the adults; dresses by Gala Gifts, Vicmik, Pings Knitwear and Reycons; bags by Papel Handicrafts, Kiculo and Saturn Arts; and accessories from Gift Fashion, Kiculo, Marayo, Art Piece, Chievs, Crisvil and Beadjewelled.
There will also be a special participation of Olivia creations, with the styling, hair and makeup to be provided by Victor Ortega Salon Premier.The show is open to the public for free, and made possible by the ANP and its friends, Havianas, Cellar and GMA, the press release added.*
