`Pink Run’ set on October 13

To heighten public awareness on breast cancer and to raise funds for breast cancer patients, the Bacolod Kadughan Foundation for Breast Care in Negros Occidental spearheads the `Pink Run” activity on October 13 at 4 a.m. at the Capitol Lagoon, a press release from organizers said.

Participants can join the 3k, 5k, and 10k run event or the group walk challenge to show their support to the campaign in Negros Occidental.

Co-organizer for the activity are the Philippine Society of General Surgeons-Negros Occidental Chapter and the Occidental Negros Lions Club, the press release said.

Any individual can join the fun run or the walk. All we need is everyone’s enthusiasm, compassion and support as the beneficiaries of this event are the indigent breast cancer patients, the press release said.

Registration is now ongoing at Room 100 and Room 308 of the Medical Arts Building at Riverside Hospital, Silah’s Creations along Circumferential Road, Chikko Fashion at 12 Streets Mayfair Plaza, and the Run Club at Robinsons Place, it added.*
