13,000 dogs vaccinated

The Bacolod City Veterinary Office has vaccinated more than 13,000 dogs in Bacolod City in line with its barangay mass rabies vaccination program which started in February, Bacolod City Veterinarian Ma. Agueda Trinidad de la Torre said yesterday.

The City Vet conducted mass rabies vaccination from February 17 to April 8 in nine barangays: Taculing, Villamonte, Singcang, Estefania, Handumanan, Mansilingan, Brgys. 2, 6, 1 and 3.

It will also conduct mass vaccinations in Barangay Tangub from April 21 to 25, Pahanocoy from April 28 to 30 and on May 2 and 5; Sum-ag from May 6 to 9 and 12, Punta-Taytay on May 13, Felisa on May 14 and 15, and Cabug on May 16 and 19.*CGS
