‘Sunnies by Charlie’
to open July 17

The trendy eyewear brand, Sunnies Studios, will open its 16th branch in Bacolod City tomorrow, its press release said.

Sunnies by Charlie will open July 17 at the second level, south arcade of Robinsons Place Bacolod, followed by a VIP launch July 19, with a meet-and-greet session with celebrity model Georgina Wilson, the press release also said.

Wilson is part of the team behind the brand, that includes Eric Dee Jr., Bea Soriano, and Martine Cajucom. The brand was founded in 2013, in response to the need for quality eyewear at reasonable cost.

Sunnies draws inspiration from the 60s and 70s with a modern twist. The aesthetic is vintage-inspired, with the mid-century color stories, and the campaigns utilize guerrilla-style photography shot mainly on film, the press release also said.

Already celebrated as a trend savvy sunglass destination, Sunnies offers curated eyewear to suit the ever-changing tastes and moods of the contemporary market, all within an affordable price range, it also said.

The VIP launch will be jumpstarted with 100 Sunnies giveaway for the first 100 guests to line up at the Sunnies Studio opening at 10 a.m., the press release added.*
