Sunnies Studios, known for its trend-savvy sunglasses and specs, opened its kiosk at the second floor of Robinson's Place Bacolod Saturday.
Bea Soriano, Sunnies' operations director, said they have 25 distribution channels in the country since they started in October 2013.
“We feel that Bacolod is such a summer place, there are lots of nice beaches here, and you have the MassKara. It's such a festival city that we felt Sunnies is perfect for Bacolod,” Soriano said.
Their target group is basically from ages 16 to 34, she said. “But looking at our stores, we realize that we target a much wider market than that like we target up to about 70 year old women,” she added.
Soriano said they have few designs coming in every two to three weeks. They are a trendy, affordable fashionable eyewear brand and in order to be at the forefront of trends they have to make sure they have an influx of sales coming in now and then.
Asked what makes them different from other eyewear brands, Soriano said they have the perfect balance of the right product, the right price, and at the right place.
“Our products are made out of polycarbonate lenses and frames and have UV for 100 protection,” she added.*CGS
