Ceres FC stays on
top after Round 1

Negrense sports pride soared high once more when the Ceres La Salle Football Club ended Saturday its first-round assignment in the United Football League at Emperador Stadium in Taguig City with a 4-0 shutout of Cimarron FC.

In dumping Cimarron, Ceres improved its win-draw-loss card to 8-2-1, enough for an aggregate of 26 points to stay on the top spot among 12 teams.

As I congratulate our players, coaches and staff for being on top at the end of the first round , said team owner and manager Leo Rey Yanson, I also  express my thanks to our fans and followers, especially here in Negros, and Negrenses in Metro Manila, for their continued support.
