Faculty and staff members of the College of Agriculture of Foundation University in Dumaguete City scored a 100 percent passing rate in the National Technical-Vocational Trainers Certificate examination given by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority recently.
Arsenio Bulfa, OIC of the FU College of Agriculture, said in a press release that the passers of the NCII TESDA examination for Animal Production given Sept 26 and 27 are Jolas Alap-ap, Risa Barcelonia, Arsenio Bulfa Jr., Ronie Paul Catacutan, Nino Catalbas, Genesis Carcusia, Dennis Ian Dael, Arniel Ferolin, Welven Ijan, Jayro Mahinay, Calmie Joy Mamhot, Miya Morales, Nibarie Nicolas, Joseph Orderf Orellano, Inocencia Ozoa, Fe Pilsopo, Cedrick Rosel, Maria Lynrose Ruiz, Joseph Satingasin, and Gumersindo Sarao.
Bulfa said the result of the TESDA examination showed that the FU College of Agriculture is ready for the K to 12 program, where students will be learning skills in their last two years of high school, to enable them to find jobs after graduation.
This is also aimed at putting Filipino students at par with those of other countries, who spend 12 years in basic education.*PR/JFP
